A great way of explaining division theories in the first instance would be to associate it to day to day life. By making connections to real life scenarios where division would come in useful - like sharing sweets with your friends, you can plant that initial definition in the student has mind. From here onwards, you can use a range of activities and teaching methods to build upon this. Just like multiplication, division can prove to be somewhat difficult to many younger students, so a good way to continue teaching it is to carry on relating it to real life scenarios.
Let me briefly discuss with you the importance of using correct English grammar in all your writing problems. By using good grammar you can make any of your English writing appealing to your readers. It would make your readers think that you are a professional writer though you think you are not. It will give you an edge or advantage when it comes to applying for a job especially when the job demands English writing. It is no doubt, if you are good at English, written or spoken, you get to be ahead of everyone that does not know or is not good in English. English is your bread and butter.
Stick to your lesson plan for the day and get it done. Smaller children are masters at sensing weakness. Give them something to avoid - an energized execution of a well-planned day. They will sense that you are in the teaching zone and will show more respect for your strong presence as you work through your plan. Smaller children are one of the hardest factors to handle in homeschooling. But you can do it if you stay in the lead with each student as well as each future student.
Show a magazine or picture book to children. Ask them to identify all instances of the given letter in any page. Hand out letter cards to all children. Call out a letter. The child with that card has to come in front of the class and display the letter. Divide the class into two groups. Give one group letter cards. Give other group various objects. The first group will hold up a letter. The second group should hold up an object that starts with that letter. Where can we get kindergarten abc worksheets? My time with toddlers is governed by the following facts: Hands-on experiences are the best and why I prefer play to "worksheets". Toddlers have emotions similar to adult emotions but their thought processes are quite different. Meet them on their level. Toddlers emotions are close to the surface. I compare them to a light switch--one minute happy and the next sad. They can go from calm to agitated in seconds. Patience is the most important word I use to describe how to deal with toddlers. Stay calm and help them to learn of their own abilities to deal with their feelings.
